How do I become a member?

Membership into the Cyber AB community, and visibility within the CMMC marketplace, is reserved for those organizations and individuals that successfully complete and pass their respective application and onboarding process, which includes formal review and authorization by the Cyber AB.

Active membership is granted for annual periods, and has successive renewal and recertification requirements to maintain status. For certified OSCs, membership is granted for three (3) years.
 

Membership Guidelines

All members must adhere to some basic guidelines to maintain a productive and professional environment. Here are some general guidelines:

1. Professional Conduct: Conduct yourself professionally and treat all members with respect, courtesy, and professionalism. Avoid engaging in any form of harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behavior.

2. Collaboration and Engagement: Actively participate in discussions, meetings, and collaborative activities within the AB community. Share your expertise, contribute constructively, and engage in meaningful dialogue to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.

3. Confidentiality and Security: Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information shared within the AB community. Safeguard any confidential or proprietary information, and refrain from unauthorized disclosure or use.

4. Compliance with Policies and Regulations: Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the AB's policies, guidelines, and code of conduct. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to cybersecurity and information sharing.

5. Conflict Resolution: If conflicts or disagreements arise, approach them professionally and seek resolution through open communication and dialogue. Respect differing opinions and strive for consensus whenever possible.

6. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest developments, standards, and practices in cybersecurity and CMMC compliance. Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

7. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Foster positive relationships and collaboration with stakeholders, including government agencies, organizations, and other AB members. Promote open communication and cooperation to achieve common goals.

8. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs): If required, honor any non-disclosure agreements or confidentiality obligations related to sensitive information or discussions within the AB community.

9. Accountability and Responsibility: Take responsibility for your actions and commitments. Meet deadlines, fulfill assigned tasks, and communicate openly if any challenges or issues arise.

10. Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the improvement and development of the AB community and its initiatives. Provide feedback, suggestions, and ideas to enhance processes, procedures, and the overall effectiveness of the AB.

These guidelines serve as a foundation for fostering a positive and productive environment within the Cyber AB community, promoting collaboration, professionalism, and mutual respect among its members.
