responsibilities

As a volunteer assisting with the development of a robust cyber security assessment program, your primary responsibility will be to support our organization in designing and implementing a comprehensive framework to evaluate and enhance our cyber security practices. Your role will involve collaborating with our cyber security team and other stakeholders to define assessment objectives, develop assessment methodologies, and establish assessment criteria.

Your specific tasks may include conducting research on industry best practices, regulations, and emerging threats to inform the development of assessment procedures and guidelines. You will contribute to the creation of assessment templates, questionnaires, and documentation necessary for conducting assessments.

Additionally, you will work closely with the team to identify key risk areas, define assessment scopes, and establish evaluation metrics. This may involve designing and implementing assessment tools and technologies to streamline the assessment process and ensure accurate and consistent results.

Furthermore, you may assist in conducting pilot assessments, gathering feedback, and refining the assessment program based on lessons learned. Your ability to analyze assessment findings, identify trends, and provide insights for improving our cyber security posture will be invaluable in enhancing the effectiveness of our program.

Throughout your volunteer role, you will have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge, expertise, and creativity to shape a robust cyber security assessment program.
