Position Summary

Position: REQ001250

This position was created to allow the CyberAB to provide a more diverse teaching cadre and student experience. The new position will also allow the CyberAB to process more student applications, classes, and certifications.

responsibilities

The Cyber AB CMMC Instructor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with the course description and objectives. They will plan, organize, assess, and engage students to achieve academic excellence in the specified courses.

The CMMC Instructor/SME handles and completes administrative and academic responsibilities related to teaching. This includes the enrollment of studnets, buidling of class rosters, updating of CMMC Learning Management System (LMS) content and student records, as well as the computation and recording of students' grades or marks based on their attendance, class participation, exams, academic performance and other certification requirements.

preferred qualifications

  • Defense Industrial Base experience
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks
    • NIST SP 800-171
    • NIST SP 800-53
    • CMMC
  • Graduate level instructor or professor

minimum qualifications

  • 2-5 years of training/teaching experience
  •  IT/Security degree
  • CMMC Provisional Instructor (PI)
